Job Description

Surgical Affiliates Management Group, Inc. (SAMGI) is looking for a Trauma Surgeon who has completed a Critical Care Surgery Fellowship who desires to join an established, surgeon led group that focuses on physician work/life balance with a predictable schedule on the Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael, CA – near Sacramento.  

Requirements

  • Board Certification in General Surgery/Critical Care Surgery
  • 5 or more years of Trauma /Acute Care Surgery and ICU patient management Experience
  • Trauma call is in-house call – details include: Two surgeons per 24 hr shift – 1 Trauma and 1 ACS. ACS also acts as Trauma back up.
  • Strong communication skills combined with high patient satisfaction scores
  • A proven record of clinical excellence and enjoy a collaborative working environment
  • Must live locally/in the community
