Job Summary:

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital/University of Central Florida College of Medicine are seeking additional teaching faculty / Associate Program Director for their internal medicine residency program.

Gainesville, FL

Qualified Candidates:

  • Must be able and willing to establish and maintain effective working relationships with residents, interns, medical students, administrative staff, residency faculty and administration, hospital staff, attending physicians, patients, families, and the public; and perform high-level decision-making.
  • Graduate of an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency program
  • Ability to obtain Florida medical licensure
  • The UCF COM/HCA GME Consortium Internal Medicine residency program in Gainesville is accredited for 60 residents
  • The incoming provider will have the ability to practice in an outpatient clinic or in a hybrid outpatient / inpatient model supervising and teaching residents.
  • Teaching physicians will receive faculty appointments and collaborate with other UCF COM faculty.
  • Candidates for teaching faculty must be board certified in the field of internal medicine.
  • Applicants with experience as academic teaching faculty or prior chief residency duties are encouraged to apply.
